Romeo and Juliet’s Death

A comparison between both parents reactions – Juliet’s and mine – Over their child’s death.

Juliet’s death affected the Capulets in a few ways. The reaction of Daddy Capulet is that he was shocked at the death of her daughter, grieved for her death, but soon got over it in the end. Lady Capulet was very shocked at her daughter’s death and never got over it.

My parents reaction, if I were have died probably would have been shocked, then my mom would have started crying and asking herself what she did wrong and my dad would have held her and would have been saying, its ok, its ok, but would have started crying himself. They would be sad and would be grieving for a very long time.

I think my parents and the Daddy and Lady Capulet would have been equally sad about their child’s death, both pairs of parents being very caring and they loved their children, even though my mom probably wouldn’t be grieving about my death for the rest of her life, she probably would be very sad though. Even though my parents would be lucky of going through the trauma of their child dying twice.

I would probably only have died once and stayed dead. Poor Capulet parents, they had to walk in on Juliet, only to find her dead in her bed, then as they went to investigate the tomb were her “corpse” was supposedly at, they find her body;
really dead, because she had killed herself after seeing that her beloved Romeo dead from drinking the poison. If I would have committed suicide, even in the act of affection, my parents would wonder where they went wrong with me.

My mom would be shocked speechless and my dad would be punching all my pictures saying, “We didn’t teach you to do this.”, then would break down and sob uncontrollably. That is how my parents would probably compare to the Capulet’s reaction of their child’s death.
