I Thought It Not
I find my mind to wander far,
Though it holds no thought.
It flees, so free, towards distant star,
Thought thinking it is not.
I know I show a vacant stare,
Drooling, as if dumb.
To say I stray just isn’t fair!
My brain is simply numb.
