Four Ways to be Healthier

These are some tips everybody should now.

When a woman is in pain and watches a comedy on Comedy Central will feel less pain while the comedy is going on and for 20 minutes after the comedy stopped and the woman stopped laughing. So if you have a pain problem, say, a back problem that gives you lots of pain try to laugh more. Watch comedies instead of CNN (no offense to CNN and its fans), watch Comedy Central. Just find the funny things in life to laugh about, make life a joke. The reason this works is because it causes your brain to release morphine like chemicals. We all know that morphine is a pain medicine. I don’t know about you but I would rather laugh than take a chance and become addicted to morphine.

British research says that when we do activity such as running stop our food cravings up to three hours. Next time you are not hungry but crave that leftover chocolate cake take a run or walk briskly around the neighborhood or even around the block. By the time the three hours are over, chances are you won’t have that craving anymore.

The University of Michigan says that for your lunch hour you should stroll through the park and your memory and attention span will increase by 20% and chance are you’ll be better at your job. If you stroll, if you have no park around your office, go around the block or anywhere really. Who knows, it might help you so much you might get a promotion because your boss will be impressed with your performance.

In the American Journal of Physo=iology-Cell Physiology says in a recent study that if you sit all day long and don’t get up or get up just to go to the vending machine, you will increase production of fat cells on your bottom. Get up at least once an hour and when you make phone calls be sure to stand up and while I am writing this I just thought of another thing, pace back and forth while you are on the phone for some exercise. And that doesn’t just mean doing that at work, these tips should be used everyday at home.

BONUS PERSONAL TIP

I get up every ten minutes from my writing and go get a glass of ice water. I read ice water burns calories because your body has to use them to heat up the water. Then I only eat a little bit and have lost 10 pounds!
